We will be hosting an Open House Thanksgiving weekend.
We know that many of you will have family in town for the holiday, and we know that you love to bring your family here!

Friday, Saturday and Sunday we will be here, drinking (perhaps slightly tipsy) and snacking and enjoying ourselves. Please join us for drinks, yummy treats (Flora is making persimmon pudding!) and a peek at the amazing gifts we have selected for the season. We will be here rain or shine.

Great furniture for all seasons
Our round cypress block garden table has a concrete top so it can weather the outdoors in any season. The blue cloud garden stool looks great with the cypress table, and also makes a great end table indoors or out.

We've got lots of plants
Many of our customers have told us recently how delighted they are to find that we still have a nursery full of plants. No, we won't be slimming down our plant selection in favor of cut Christmas trees. Our nursery is still packed with amazing plants for your garden, and will be all winter long. Autumn in our little slice of urban nature is full of delights.

Some great plants we have in stock now- Banksia blechnifolia, Grevillea 'Long John' Cordyline a. purpurea.

We have lots of different passion flowers in stock now. So very easy to grow. This is a Passiflora "lavender Lady'.
 

We know you are not ready to shop for gifts yet, but ...
We will have an amazing collection of gifts for the nature lovers in your life, as well as holiday decorations that we are crazy for, and all sorts of plants that are perfect alternatives to the boring old poinsettias that you are so tired of.

A table top potted succulent arrangement costs about the same as a bouquet of cut flowers, but brings joy for years instead of days.

How about Bromeliads for your holiday table? Folks in the tropics use them to decorate for the season, and we hope you will be inspired to do the same. The colors are outrageous and the forms are so sculptural. Below are an Aechmea 'Del Mar' and an Aechmea hybrid.


 

If you are in town, please do drop in for a drink. Our winter hours will be unchanged through Christmas. Monday through Saturday 8-6 and Sunday 10-6.
