Hello Friends –

Here at Flora Grubb Gardens, we joke every year that we are going to turn the store into a "winter wonderland" complete with piles of fake snow, candy canes, and life-sized snowmen. But we don't, of course. We are so glad to live here in San Francisco where the sun is shining and mild winter rains are falling. We don our sweaters and hiking boots and head out into the cool winter sunshine. We are Californians, and we do the holidays our way!

Thanksgiving Open House

Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from noon to 4pm
We will be serving drinks and cookies fresh out of the oven and enjoying your company.

The Open House is going to be extra fun this year! We will have some lovely events during the weekend. We just know you will be as delighted as we are by all of the gifts we’ve found for the season. To spice it all up a little, we will have some great stuff on SALE, at 10% – 40% off.

Cookie decorating for kids with Little Lane Studios

Saturday 11am – 3pm: Our friends at Little Lane Studios will host your little ones in decorating cookies. The decorations are straight from the garden — naturally colored sugars, beautiful botanicals and tiny little petals.

Terrarium building lessons and terrarium vessel SALE

Jared Teaches Terrariums Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 12pm – 3pm Our customers have told us how inspired they are by the terrariums we have here at the store. Our terrariums are all created in-house by our own Jared Crawford. Jared has an amazing talent for making these enchanting little worlds, and at our open house he will share some of his skills with you. He will give hands-on instruction on how to create your own beautiful and successful terrariums. You are welcome to buy the supplies you need and, with Jared's help, plant your terrarium on our potting bench.
