We are moving!

This Saturday April 21, we will open the doors of our new store at 1634 Jerrold Ave. See a map. With two containers of merchandise still at sea and the construction dust barely settled, we must admit we are not quite ready yet, but we would love to see you here. Our official opening is May 1, but with this great weather spring is in full swing, we just couldn’t wait any longer. We have an astounding collection of plants waiting for you, some garden furniture we are madly in love with, and Ritual Coffee will be here serving the best coffee in town.

Our beloved Guerrero Street store closes soon. Right now, everything in the store is discounted 20% to 40%. Come and see us soon, because as soon as it is all gone, we will close the store. We will close no later than May 11, but possibly sooner.

May 12 and 13 is Grand Opening! We will be celebrating all weekend long with food, music, and bicycle-powered carnival rides.

Here are some very cool plants that will be available at our new store April 20.

Metasequoia glyptostroboides 'Gold Rush'
Ahhh- the Golden Dawn Redwood. If the Japanese can dedicate a week or more to admiring cherry blossoms, surely we can sigh for a moment over this choice selection of the ancient Chinese redwood as it sprouts its soft gold-to-chartreuse foliage.

Echeveria
When you walk into our nursery, you'll never be far from a succulent. Succulents' powerful forms and colors demand a position in almost every garden we have a hand in, and they can often take the place of flowers entirely. Of course many succulents flower beautifully too. The Echeveria are starting to flower now - and will soon be host to some welcome guests. Hummingbirds love Echeveria flowers.
