One of our favorite gardens from designer Daniel Nolan is also one of the most simple. Nolan used bold forms and contrasting colors, leaving ample negative space for each plant to shine.

Furcraea macdougallii

This spectacular Century Plant has 6 foot long, thorny leaves that point right to the sky, making a dramatic entry statement. Hardy to about 28° F

Agave 'Blue Glow'

A beautiful smaller Agave with solitary rosettes that slowly grows to 2 feet tall and 3 feet across. The smooth blue-green leaves have yellow-red margins that light up when back-lit. A great choice for warm coastal climates, hardy to 20° F.

Sedum rupestre 'Angelina'

A low growing, bright chartreuse ground cover, Sedum rupestre ‘Angelina' is vigorous and evergreen in mild climates. Hardy to -20° F.
