Grevilleas are drought tolerant, but they'll want infrequent additional summer water at least every couple of weeks once established. They prefer well-drained soil, but they're less picky than some of the other proteaceous plants. After a couple years of good watering to establish, this grevillea often won't need supplemental water if it is within a few miles of the coast. | |

Notas de cultivo
This plant is known to be mildly invasive in some areas, though it does not seem particularly problematic along the central coast of California.
Interés especial
Commercially farmed and logged in Madagascar, where there are entire 'forests' of this tree, as it is fast growing and reproduces easily.
