We gather and grow the most exciting climate-appropriate plants we can find in the sun-drenched hills of the Rainbow Valley in Southern California.

The farms are called Grubb & Nadler after our two co-owners, Flora Grubb and Saul Nadler. Saul oversees our skilled crew of nursery-people growing plants to Flora Grubb Gardens’ exacting standards.
Grubb & Nadler specializes in growing Australian, South African, and California natives for resilient landscapes, including exceptional Protea-family plants, cactus, succulents, palms, and other rare and unusual species that thrive in coastal California and throughout the West.
In addition to serving our two retail locations, Grubb & Nadler sells wholesale to designers, brokers, landscapers, municipalities, and retailers all over California and the West.
